New Adams Speedline Drivers

Has anyone tried the new Adams Speedline drivers? Thought and opinions? Did you notice an increase in club head speed and distance?

It's an interesting concept. I was going to demo one this past weekend but the weather was terrible.

I did try these last weekend and was impressed. I'm not sure I really saw an increase in ball speed/club head speed, but it did seem like I was hitting it further than I do other drivers. For comparison purposes I also hit a Callaway FT5 (it was in used bin right outside the simulator) and was hitting the Speedline 10-20 yards further. I didn't put a lot of stock into my test simply because I only tried one other driver and it didn't have the exact same shaft (same flex and, though). Additionally, because it was on simulator it's hard to tell what it is like in real life - the simulator had my ball speed at 158-170, which is a little higher than normal, so I don't know if I trust the numbers it was showing me. What I liked about the Speedline was the look at address. It looked much smaller than newer 460cc heads. I intend to try it again in the next couple weeks and who know - I might end up buying it. It's been my favorite of all of the new drivers I have tried in last couple months (and I have tried pretty much all of them). I also liked the feel and sound better than other newer drivers.

Just as a note, the only thing I didn't really like was the stock shaft. It seemed to have a high kickpoint. The ball was really coming off much lower than I prefer. I tried the stiff (my normal) and regular flex in same loft and even the regular was a lower ball flight than I prefer. But I like a higher ball flight anyway. I guess I also do not like the graphics on the bottom but you can't see those at address anyway so it didn't bother me.

I have a Zelocity PureContact monitor. It gives you ball speed and is fairly accurate. I'd be interested to see what it says for the Speedline vs. my other drivers.
