Exotics CB2 is an amazing 3 wood, very long and forgiving....it will give your driver a run for the money...

+2. Tour Edge Exotics makes some AWESOME fairway woods, but they are kind of pricey. if you want to go cheap, find a brand new Sonartec (Royal Collection) GS Tour fairway wood. they are great too and you can buy them CHEAP on ebay

I have to give props to a company I wasn't sure I'd ever praise. The new fairway woods from Nike (the Dymo series) are nice. They feel good, and especially with the 4 wood up, they are a nice size, unlike so many companies huge fairway woods that can be so difficult to hit off of turf. I'm looking to buy a 4 wood and so far it's the best I've tried. I tried the 'round' model, not the 'square'.

Holy smokes, MacGregors are cheap now ('cause they're going out of business, I assume):

I was curious about these, so I tried out the 3-wood (stiff shaft) yesterday. Eh, it was OK. Pretty long but it felt kind of dead. Certainly nothing like the Tour Edge Exotics. (And yes, my handicap is high but I've been striking the ball pretty well lately. I was hitting it probably 220-230.)

Based on comments in this forum I decided to bid on a TaylorMade V-Steel.
