2005 Buick - Tiger Wins

I think Tiger looked really happy after capping a win. He looks different than the the 2000 Tiger... more relaxed, more mature. I think he really appreciated pulling this one out.

I'll definately agree with that. The way everyone else played, it kind of looked like the 2000 Tiger where everyone else just kind of folded when having to face him down. Perhaps the intimidation factor is back in his game.

Also, I just saw the replay of Charles Howell's shot at 18, one of the most unlucky things I've ever seen happen to anyone.

Two things, both on 18:

1. Charles Howell III holed his third on the fly for an eagle at the last to get to -16 (the eventual winning score), only to have it kick out of the hole and into the water!
2. Tiger Woods flat out missing a shot 30 yards short and 20 yards right on the last hole. he wasn't laying up - the area he was "laying up" to was smaller than the green!

Nuts man. Absolute nuts (plus I had CHIII in the ESPN tourney, and could have used an eagle).
