Yeah that guy sounds like a hustler for sure. Eh, you gotta make a livin some how.

I have not hit the MX-700s - I'm guessing that's what you meant? And were you talking about the driver or fairway woods? I don't really see a reference to either?

I have hit both at an outside demo day last weekend, and as a 6 you will probably get more out of the MP 600, the rep tried to push the MX 700 on me and I just didn't like it it seems like all the G.I. driver's if you will, cater towards high ball flight, high launch and high spin, they claim it's high launch low spin but it balloned way to much for me,as did the Diablo an all the other $300 drivers probably the shaft's more than anything, the MP 600 was one of my top 3 clubs along with the Titleist 909D3 and Cobra S91 pro S,I'm going with the Cobra S91 pro S

Oops, sorry. Yeah, I meant the Drivers.

I've always known that Mizuno irons were money, but I never was even remotely interested in any of their woods.

But I just demoed the MP-600 and the MP-700 and based on feel alone, I may be swaying towards more of a believer.

The Mizuno rep I talked to told me I'd hit it 20 yards further with the MP-700 and when I told him I wasn't concerned with distance, in fact I'd trade off some distance to have my misses still be in the short stuff, he jumped trains and said well this will do both. And while I'd love to take his word for it, I know he's a salesman first and a reliable source second.

I was at a demo day at an indoor event, so no clue about the ball flight. Anyone else hit these things, indoors or outdoors?

I'd love to hear input from anyone who actually owns one of them too.

Based off feel alone, that's what I would have figured. I'd have expected to find a consistent, more boring ball flight with the MP 600, vs. the MX 700. The latter absolutely jumps off the clubface and even indoors you can see the difference in how high it starts off. High spin (or even mid-spin for me since I already hit it high) in a driver is definitely a major concern, I hate the ballooning driver shot. Thanks for the feedback, I haven't tried the Cobra but I've heard a lot of good things about their woods lately, maybe I should give it a whack.

Trust me the Cobra has that wow factor, I have never been interested in cobra clubs until this year, with the look's, the sound I could get over with performance, try the Titleist 909 drivers and the MP 600, I also liked (but not better than the cobra) the tour edge exotics now that's a nice club that remond's me of a titleist, even the price tag is similar

I hear you, I'd even go to the point of saying that I was always turned off to Cobra's. I've just been hearing so damn much about their Drivers, I at least have to take a few swings and give it a chance.

I might even bring the new Cleveland Launcher into the mix, that felt surprisingly good on the demo range.

I have a friend who is a cleveland faithful that loved that driver, I even liked it even though I would'nt admit it to him. But I think if you swing the club at least 98 mph you can find a Cobra pro model that will suite your game and if I'm not mistaken as a 6 your looking for mid launch low to mid spin and alot of carry and roll, which is exactly what I got with the S91 pro S hope you have the same experience. Finding the right driver is better than finding the right wife.

I know you were talking about the drivers but yesterday i bought the MX 700 hybrid and it is small enough not to be a GI club with the forgivenes. The face had amazing feel and it was just as good or better that the titleist, which is why i bought it. You really cant go wrong.

Ive heard lots of great things about the MX-700s, especially the drivers. Hot face, very forgiving, high launch.
Mizuno has been the best of the best in irons for a long time and it looks like they may FINALLY be pretty competition in the driver/fairway wood market now with the MX-700.

Have hit them both. Loiked them both. The MX-700 is UGGGLLLLY, but its a glorified cannon. No joke, I gained 10 yard. But its soooo ugly. Also, im not sold on the exlisar (sp?) shaft in the club.
