top 3 graphite iron

shafts? any advice is great !!

I am considering:

1. aldila vs proto
2. aldila nv
3. ust v2

I have Grapholly Pro launch on all my irons and hybrids.

I didn't know people put graphite shafts in irons ... I thought that was only for seniors, women, and children. ... oh yeah, and Rich Beem.

Man, I can't imagine spending that much for iron shafts. I got my Rifle graphite shafts on ebay for $40 for the SET.

I have played both the UST shaft and the Aldila NV shaft you list. I like the UST shaft better. I just felt I could make adjustments, hit it a little harder, higher lower etc and get the results I expected. Sometimes the NV shaft seemed to exaggerate differences more than the amount of change I felt I was making. I do not have a problem either slicing or hooking normally so I cannot comment on that aspect. My ball speed is in the 130-135 range normally so if you are a long hitter probably not good shafts.

I'm not sure if they are similar, but the NV hybrid shaft feels very dull and heavy in my hands.

I would also suggest staying away from the NV, never hit the irons, but the woods gave me very incosistent results..

I feel like one daily...I know do more stretching...btw I am a senior @ almost 62 in July..I just act young
