At first I thought she fell into the cup and somehow fell, breaking the neck or onto a club or something. What really happened sounds more realistic. Sad though, but if I should go, falling into a hole on a golf course doesn't sound too bad, but I'd rather be old, not 38 years old.

My neighbor had a similiar sink hole in his back yard. It turned out to be a broken sewer pipe that was leaking and washed the dirt away causing the ground to open up. Sad for the poor woman. She was just at that place at the wrong moment.
