Bridgestone 330RX for 80 mph swing?

Hi,

Have any other slow swingers tried this ball? I know it is designed for less than 105 MPH but how much less? I'm going to get a sleeve when the season starts, but I am looking to see how others think they play.

I tried it last year. I am in the 85 to 90 MPH range. I really didn't like it as well as the E-5 and E-7 balls from bridgestone. I play the E-5 now.

My dad plays em all the time and he's right around the 75-80 mph swing range whenever he's had coffee...he likes em, i hit em around the greens one day for fun and they bite nicely...not much in terms of feel tho, but thats IMO

I have not tried the RX yet. I do swing about 90 (give or take 2) and I love the e5+. It has amazing spin for a 2 piece, especially given it's durability. The high launch should be especially good for a slow swinger to maximize carry distance. I would highly recommend trying this ball unless you already hit the ball high and/or slice the ball. If that's the case maybe try the e6 or e7. Either way, for the money, Bridgestones mid-price balls are amazing. JMHO.

My swing speed is between 85 and 90mph. I was given a box of these balls. The RX felt soft off the driver and didn't travel as far on well struck shots for me as mid price balls by Callaway and TaylorMade did. The RX felt soft around the green but didn't seem to spin as much as, say, a ProV1. I'm not impressed.

It's an exceptional ball. Try it; you'll not get a feel for it from comments here.

I like it a lot, particularly for its feel on short chips/pitches. Really good feel on putts as well.

Not personally but 3 of my buddies switched to this ball. They are under 100 mph and put on like 10-20 yards
