I'm as big a Tiger fan as anyone, but I find it funny that everyone seems to forget that Tiger bogeyed the last 2 holes to fall back into a playoff and Dimarco actually hit the pin on 18 with his chip, which would have won it (assuming Tiger still missed his par putt).

I guess it's just one of those things that get lost - like nobody really remembering that Norman bogeyed 18 in 1986, otherwise he would have been in a playoff with Nicklaus.

Nobody cares if a baseball team wins with a grand slam in the bottom of the 9th, or if the winning run scored off an error.

When you look back at past results, all that matters is the score, not how you got there.
