You can probably pick up a sumo2 or hibore for that range. You probably can get taylormade stuff too from the 07 or even 08 burner lines.

What he said! SERIOUSLY!

I've got a nickent 4dx draw. I absolutely love it. My dad, uncle, and grandpa have a mizuno mx-700, ping g-10, and ping rapture respectivley. They swing as hard as they can and blah blah and are all around longer hitters than me. When I'm keeping my drives in play with a nice easy swing, I'm right with them. Balls FLLLY off the club face. I really do not plan on getting rid of this driver until something horrible happens to it.

I switch drivers about every 2 years. Usually buy a "New" club off one of the Ebay vendors. Note, I said vendor vs. an individual. The vendors care about their reputation and will usually be fair to deal with.
This year I upgraded to a NEW Tour Edge Exotics Driver for well under a $100 dollars shipping included. These retailed for $300 - $400 only a year ago. Mine is the 10.5 with Fujikura Shaft. It is long... but surprisingly the best part has been the straightness. VERY Forgiving. If you have a good swing I would suggest the 9 degree over the 10.5. The Fujikura shaft gets the ball up quickly so the 9 might be longer. My drives are long enough so I am happy with the straightness of the 10.5.
A sleeper driver would be a year or two old Nicklaus. They have a hot face but are not as forgiving.
Longest driver in my foursome is a TM R7 Quad.
I tried it but could never get to the point where I could hit it consistently. It felt 'light' to me, so my swing would wander... Hope this helps.

I have a fantastic Callaway 460 in my hands right now. Just got it from Amazon for $149. It was sold via Golfsmith, on Amazon. Just a great driver and the price is awesome for a club like this. Below is the link to where I got mine, but it could be bought directly from Golfsmith for the same price I assume.

The R7 Quad is a nice club that feels and sounds good. For drivers I think it's hard to go wrong with Taylor Made. As for the Callaway FT-i Tour, I'm not so sure. Those drivers are not liked by everyone (myself included as I bought one when they went down to $169.99 but wasn't happy with it). Especially the fact it's the tour model which means the center of gravity will be set a little closer to the face than the non-tour models. That makes it easier for good players to 'work' the ball, but more difficult for most amateurs to control. I currently have a Callaway FT-i LCG 9.0* model (almost the same as the Tour model, but the center of gravity it a little lower) that I would be willing to sell to someone for a good price - it's barely been used at all.
