Two Shaft Questions

Today I went and demoed a 10.5 Taylormade Burner and 10.5 Ping G10. The Burner had a stiff shaft on it and I was hitting right down the middle and I just did not like the feel of the G10. I bought my Sumo2 not knowing much about shafts and got one with the letter A on the bottom of the club opposed to one that said R or S and was wondering what it means because its very flexible.

My other question is would a not stiff enough shaft produce the inconsistant drivers distance and accuracy wise? I have not been fitted or know my swing speed. I need to have that done soon.

that probably means that it is a senior shaft, so it is very whippy. it will affect ur accuracy if it is to whippy because the club head will come in late and cause the face to be open creating a slice.

That's exactly what I thought but wasnt 100%. Thanks for the answer. Ill have to get rid of this thing seeing how my SS must be too fast for it.
