I have had a raging case of tennis elbow since just after the first of the year! I think that it came about from hitting off of those frikin mattes in cold weather.

It is on the outside of the right elbow......I have been icing and applying IB lotion on it, and it will get better then flare up again. Man I hope thet I don't have to take some time off.......that would be worst than the tendenitis.

Any suggestions?

I've had it for about one year now. I just stretch it and drop 2 Alleve's before I play. Really, I doubt if mine will ever go away. Those elbow bands just below the elbow on the forearm seem to keep everything in place as well.

I'm down to a 10 handicap. At this rate, I'll get to scratch at 90 years old!

I had tendonitis while playing baseball. I would golf after ball practice and my left elbow (I throw lefty, but golf righty) would just throb. I put on a cheap elbow brace and it worked like magic. I could swing with it on and my tendons stayed in their places. After practice, I would ice it, then put the brace on, then golf. Its amazing how much a brace can do.

I quit baseball when I went to college last year, but I still golf, and my elbow hasn't bothered me since, so I couldn't have damaged it that bad by golfing that much after baseball.

    • Three great shots from McIlroy's group (Smith and the US Am Champ) on 12.  The amateur won closest to the pin, although I doubt the group had a bet going.
    • I thought complaining about Fleetwood's appearance was my schtick   For real though, I agree with you, and when I see that, especially in a major, I'm confused.  When I play in a multi-day event at my club, I plan my clothing in advance because I want to look my best.   If no one else, their clothing sponsors should do this for them.  I think Nike used to do this with their stable -- I used to look forward to seeing their posts on the Facebook before majors to see how Tiger and Anthony Kim and friends would be dressed. Meanwhile, Jason Day is dressed fairly blandly today.  Who saw that coming?
    • The hell is Thomas Fleetwood wearing? He looks like a divorced dad from 1998. Even the shoes are hideous
    • I was wondering this and haven't seen it on today's broadcast OR yesterday's, but apparently Cabrera did show up.  He currently has the third highest score for the week and is playing his last hole of this year's event.  I'm not particularly keen to see him, but I was wondering if he was present, and he seems to be.
    • Hatton hit 18 GIR.  That's incredible.   Rory's tee shot on #8 reminds me of a TV show, Get Smart, that I enjoyed watching as a kid.  The protagonist would often say "missed me by that much."  Rory missed avoiding the bunker by that much.
