Did you drop any hints? Did she get the one you wanted? And how did she know the right specs?

My girlfriend would be the type to buy me a Scotty. Christmas can't get here soon enough...

Now c'mon...don't think I wasn't right there with her. She just told me she wanted to get it for me (she always gets me something golf) and well....the putter is about the only "old" thing I had in my bag. All she did was pay for it. Love her to death but she'd be hard pressed to tell you the difference between a 3-wood and a putter.

She's a keeper

Oh you can ask anyone who knows us...I WAAAAY over-married. We'll be married 11 years this Aug (together about 15) and I wouldn't trade her for the world.

My girlfriend got me a Cleveland Niblick for father's day. She doesn't know a niblick from bisquick, but she thinks the name is cute. That's what I think helped her get excited about it. I was there when she bought it, but I still have to wait untill father's day which is almost 5 weeks away... After every round I play, I tell her that my scores were so bad because I needed a niblick for a lot of shots. She's still the greatest.

Congrats on the Scotty.

I'd rather have the Bisquick; haven't had pancakes in a while.

Lucky you. Mine calls me whenever I'm on the course and bitches at me about playing golf. And, yes, I know I should leave my cell phone in the car but if she calls and I don't answer she knows I'm golfing then she really gets sore.

Yes.. it is nice to have an understanding wife... I turned 40 in April and my wife went to the Pro Shop and they helped her out, and she bought me the putter in my signature. It was a total surprise.... Man I love her.

    • Down the line and face on from today. Still feeling like I’m sticking the club into a hole in the ceiling above my right shoulder and then big loop inside to start downswing. That’s how it feels. Not how it looks though! Gotta keep working on this for a bit but I see a lot of progress. 😁
    • Day 5 (13 Mar 26) - Friday shootout cancelled- made it a practice round working from mixed tees. Plenty of up and down work around greens.  Best was a hole out birdie on the par 3 #5 hole - nice pitch and roll w/Pw from about 10yds off the green - dead center flagstick drop.  Much of round was focused on getting solid weight shift into lead foot.
    • Day 208 3-13 Worked on wrist arching and flow. First time hitting reall balls at a range in months. It was nice to see ball flight. Still not sure it beats my backyard practice station.
    • Three hole match - microphones on in the cart. It's fascinating listening to them talk about their shots and how they play them. I'm not normally a huge fan of the TM videos - they seem forced to me - but this one doesn't. It's also fun seeing their competitiveness over what on the face of it is a fairly meaningless 3 holes, but they can't help themselves.
