Does anyone have any experience using both of these shafts? Are the differences subtle or very noticeable? I'm thinking of trying the new launcher driver so any thoughts on this driver are also appreciated. (I know getting properly fitted is best, I'm just looking for other peoples experiences with them)

I have a Cleveland Hibore XLS driver with the Gold in regular flex and a Hibore XLS 2Hybrid with the Red in stiff. My driver swing is easy and smooth, so the Gold regular fits me well. It launches pretty high, but that was something I needed. If I do get jerky or try to "get on it", the results are not very good; it can be whippy. The Red stiff in the hybrid is great too. I tend to swing harder with my irons and hybrid and like a lower trajectory. The Red stiff is perfect for that. It also helps me keep it straight if I am hitting out of deep rough. I "played" around with the four shaft options(Gold reg and stiff, Red reg and stiff) until I found what I wanted out of the stock shafts.

In my  Warbird Hot stand bag:
nike.gif Dymo2 Str8 fit 10.5 or  HiBore XLS 10.5,  Steelhead Plus 3 and 5 woods,

 NP2 3H,  DCI 990 4-PW,  Forged + 54/12,  RAC 58/8,

Classic #1,  NXT Tour or  Burner TP

he pretty much covered it.

Gold is for someone wanting a higher trajectory because of the not as stiff tip. The red is the more "tour" shaft being for stronger players, having a lower trajectory with the stiff tip.
