Looking around on E-bay last night I ran across a used but almost perfect condition FT-5 (neutral), Pro launch platinum shaft, wrench, and head cover for a pretty low price.

I could not resist... How do you guys like yours?

I have been playing a R7 Superquad.

Make sure it is REAL. There are alot of FT woods/drivers on ebay that are fake. Some even say "used" to try to trick you. Make sure you get the serial from the guy and run it over with callaway before you even buy to make sure its the head/shaft match etc. If that goes through still take it to a golf store to get it checked out.

I'm assuming that you're talking about the I-Mix as I have not heard of the I-Fit. FT-5 is a solid head. I have a 8.5 neutral with a fubuki tour shaft and it knocks the 08 TM Burner out of my bag. The only turn off would be the sound that it makes. The FT-5 is probably the loudest sounding driver I've seen. As far as fakes, I have not heard/seen of fakes involving the I-Mix system. With that said it doesn't hurt to ask for the serial number.

I just purchased an FT-5 from Callaway and I must say that I love the driver. I have not been more consistant with past drivers as I am with this one! I think I am hitting my FT-5 about 10-15 yards longer than my old Taylor Made R580xd. This is definatly a driver I will keep for quite some time! I have the Proforce V2 shaft in mine.

I tweaked my back last week and have not been able to get out with the FT-5 yet. I hit about a dozen trash balls into the woods and it seems like it has potential.

BTW it is authentic. I got it for $100.00 with a Prolaunch Platinum shaft in stiff.
came with the wrench, head cover and original box.

I'm really happy w/my FT-5/I-Mix setup. I like being able to tweak the head/shaft combo. I have a pair of heads and a pair of shafts. It's like having 4 drivers.

I finally got to play 18 between the rain storms.

I hit the driver well, miss hit shots still went pretty straight and I had no slicing action. The course was soaked so all I had was carry distance with little to no roll. I did not take any gps range measurements but I would guess a carry of 230-240. The Prolaunch Platinum shaft in stiff seems like a good fit.

I shot an 85, best score to date is an 83. I was only 5 over par for the first 8 holes and then doubled the par 5 9th with a miserable 5 wood pop up off the tee.

I was not looking for a new driver but when I saw the 100.00 buy it now price for the head, shaft, wrench I could not pass it up.

For now it has knocked the R7 Superquad out of the bag
