Picking up a G10 driver today

I found one for sale locally for a pretty good price, in the loft and shaft I like, so I thought I'd grab it. I've been thinking of replacing my aging Callaway C4, and since I've got a set of G10 irons on order I figured why not. I'll take both to the range tonight and see how I like it, if nothing else I might be able to flip it for some profit or trade the two in towards something else.

Good luck. I hit the G10 in the store the other day and it felt very solid.

Just got home with it, if he hit 50 balls with this thing I'd be surprised! It's barely got a mark on it. It's the 10.5* with the stock TFC129 Stiff shaft, it's a bit overcast here but hopefully I can get to the range tonight or tomorrow to give it a spin.

I've LOVED the G10 in PGA Superstore. Still want to try the Adams Speeline also

You will love the G10 head. Great sound. Great forgiveness. Plenty of distance. If it is the correct shaft and loft you should like it.

Just got back from the range, and the G10 definitely beat the C4 in the head-to-head. I was still hitting the C4 pretty straight, but I've never been able to get much more than 200-210 yards out of it. I have a fairly average swing speed (~90mph), and as light as it is I think it's geared more towards faster swings. I've stuck with it because of my accuracy with it.

The G10, however, was just as accurate and a good 40-50 yards longer. I was actually hitting a bit of a draw with it occasionally, and had a more pleasing trajectory. Looks like a good buy and a keeper.
