Rocco definitely makes the cut AND he'll be a factor on Sunday. I mean he's a complete legend! I think he's even supposed to be in a poker tourney especially for sports legends in September. For those of you who don't think he'll be a contender, I think you all will be surprised!
well the need for a new driver says (mostly hopes) that he will contend

Exactly. I've got my fingers crossed.

In the bag:
Driver: `09 Launcher (10.5º) w/ Fujikura Fit-On Red Stiff
3 Wood: `09 Launcher w/ Fujikura Fit-On Red Stiff shaft
3 Hybrid (20.5º): `09 Launcher w/ Fujikura Fit-On Red Stiff Shaft
4-PW: CG7 Tour w/ TT Dynamic Gold Stiff Shafts50º (8º Bnce), 56º (14º Bnce), 60º (8º Bnce):

He is tied for 4th place at -2. If he keeps this up he will be in the mix.

In my Ogio Budlight Bag
Taylormade R11 Driver | Big Bertha Diablo 3W | Tight Lies 5W & 7W |
Big Bertha Diablo 24 degree hybrid | Slingshot 4D 5-PW, AW Irons | SV Tour 56* wedge |
Detour Newport 2 | Noodle Ball | Golf Logix GPS

I didn't think he would do anything, judging by his track record since torrey pines. But boy was I wrong. He's definitely a contender.

In my stand bag:
909D3 with 10.5 degrees of loft and a 45 inch Fujikura Rombax 6Z08, x-flex
909F3 15* with a stock Diamana Blue
FT 18* with an Aldila NV
X-forged ('07), 3-PW with Project X 6.0 CG12, 53/11, and 58* with DSG Red X2, 33"All with Lamkin Crossline Full Cord. (except the putter of...

Go Rocco!

I like Rocco cause he plays the same GI irons I do not even the tour version, offset and all.

That being said, I don't think he'll be in the top 10, but given today's round(s) he looks like he really loves the US Open now

he also looks like he's gained about 30 lbs since last year, and he's not carrying it well, it went straight to his hips... like a chick!

In the bag:
Driver - FT-9 10* Stock Stiff Fujikura
3Wood - X 3W Stock Stiff Callaway Graphite Shaft
Hybrids - X Hybrids 21*, 24*, 27* uniflex steel shaft
Irons - X-22 irons 6-PW uniflex steel shaftWedges - X Forged Chrome Wedges: 52*, 56*, 60*Putter - White Hot XG #9Ball - Tour ix or TP...

Well Rocco tailed off there in the end but he's still up there. I'm rooting for him.

But yeah, it does look like he's gained a bit of weight.

He has as good a chance as anyone, but IMO he wont find the magic that he had last year.
Its a shame too because Rocco winning the U.S. Open would be a very popular win and a win that is long overdue.

Whats in my :sunmountain: C-130 cart bag?

Woods: :mizuno: JPX 850 9.5*, :mizuno: JPX 850 15*, :mizuno: JPX-850 19*, :mizuno: JPX Fli-Hi #4, :mizuno: JPX 800 Pro 5-PW, :mizuno: MP T-4 50-06, 54-09 58-10, :cleveland: Smart Square Blade and :bridgestone: B330-S

He's three over today.

Yes, he does. Forget the favorites and look for the "dark horse". Did anyone think Angel Cabrera was going to win at Oakmont? Did anyone think he was going to win at Augusta this year before the tournament began?

Boy, did I call it or what? Lucas Glover was certainly a "dark horse" and no one noticed him before the tournament got started. Congratulations to him. He held up and deserved to win.

I am not trying to say that I am the greatest seer in the world, but when you have watched Michael Campbell and Angel win the US Open, and Ben Curtis and Todd Hamilton win the Open Championship, you know that an unknown can peak at the right time, and take home the trophy. We all knew that Tiger and Phil would at least contend for the title. However, the spotlight was so centered on them, that many people ignored the rest of the field. As we all know, the US Open, because of the way the USGA sets up the course, rewards steady play, under pressure. There are only a few unknowns who are capable of "rising to the occasion". Obviously, Lucas Glover is one of those, and he was so smart in hitting a 6 iron off the tee on the 72nd hole. He knew that was all he needed, with a 2 shot lead. If that had been Phil, he would have grabbed the Big Stick, and God knows where the ball would have gone (remember Winged Foot in 2006?).

Glover's birdie, par, par finish proved that he had the "right stuff" under extreme pressure. His second shot on 16 sealed the deal and gave him a nice cushion to play the last two holes.
