For some lighthearted bad advice, I once had a playing partner tell me not to flirt with the cart girls so much.

What? I thought that's what they were there for

Not only in golf, but generally I will only give an opinion when asked for one. In golf, when asked about slicing, hooking, pushing etc., instead of trying to fix them, I just point out two key parts of the outcome of the ball flight (assuming the didn't top or chunk it).

Path vs. Clubface direction.

Then I recommend they get lessons to fix those two.
