Recording statistics

To further immerse myself in learning the game of golf, I'd like to keep regular stats on myself in a journal of sorts to see how my improvements are going and what areas of my game need more work.

Right now I have a couple of charts I'm planning on recording to. One records some information about each round I play. Date, course, score, fairways, greens, putts, 3 putts, wedges, hazards. The other I'll use to record my club distances every few weeks.

Can anyone think of any other stats or full charts I may consider recording?

Try OOBGolf.com. You just input your scores and other stats and they create the charts and progressions for you.

Oh cool. I downloaded the iPhone app for this earlier, but it said I needed to download the desktop app; so I can't do anything with it yet. I was considering writing my own iPhone app to record what I wanted, but maybe this'll do the trick!

Yeah, the iPhone app is a "freebie" for registered users. It'll work just fine with the app in demo mode, though - the app itself is just limited to five rounds.
