I like metal shafts on my irons. I like the stiffness to them. The newer shafts seem to feel like they are flopping around to much for me.

What do you mean metal? They still use steel shafts in many irons, not all are graphite normally you can chose which one you prefer. I use steel for irons/wedges and putter and graphite for woods and hybrids

Sweet, I was worried I would look antique with my old king cobra irons. I have had them since 1990. Just started golfing again. I just see alot of people with the other graphite ones. When I was 15 I bought these king cobra irons and the golf pro at the golf course told me to get the metal one, He thought I would break the other ones. these are antiques 19 year old irons. Maybe I should upgrade? What irons to get? Callaway?

If you are hitting the Cobras fine I'd say stick with them and put the money towards lessons maybe to improve your game.
