One of the greatest high school coaches and all around guys in Iowa history was shot by a former student/player this morning.

I was never involved with the school, but my heart goes out to that town. There's too much that has happend to them for me to mention, but the article covers most of it.

I played HS football for a rival HS 97'-01'. We played AP at least two times a year. He always shook everyone's hand and was a great sport. Never whined about much either. Great coach and awesome role model. Another great man who didn't get to live his entirety. RIP

Yeah I cant believe this crap, Iowa is going to hell. Saturday like 5 blocks away from me, some dumbass got shot over a "dice" game. 22 years old dead over some bull crap...

My heart goes out to the family, he was a great guy (the coach, not the dumb gang banger)

Yeah its BS 5-10 years ago you never had to worry about anything maybe some "tough guy" at a bar or what not, but now you got all the chicago thugs moving here with no regard for their life or others.

I'm seriously considering moving out of town.

I have some buddies at Kirkwood and one night they hopped in a car w/ a black guy they had class with. Turns out the guy was on his way to a heroin deal and they got robbed at gunpoint by the would be buyers. On the road on the SW side of the Five Seasons Center.

Doesnt suprise me at all, I'm good friends with a lot of the Cops and Sherrifs in town and the shit I hear is just beyond me. That is why I am getting a carry license.
