Looking for some feedback on bending the lofts of my wedges to shrink the gaps... Seems strange as I'm very consistant with the irons as 4* reductions between clubs is usually 10 yards. errrrr

Currently hitting: (high with a ton of spin- mant times too much)
9i - 140
PW (46*) 125
GW (52*) 105
SW (56*) 85
LW (60*) 70

Think about bending the lofts... Opinions? Suggestions?

Questions:
1. Does the bedning effect the greeen side playability at all?

If your playing 4 wedges in your bag, I dont think you need to bend them, IMHO..

If you didnt have a gap wedge, then maybe a consideration of bending your sand to 54 and lob to 58..

btw, I have the exact same wedges and lofts as you do.

Bending will change the bounce. I don't think you should bend them anyway, looks like you've got a pretty tight spread there, but need to work on not always hitting full shots.

I have virtually the same lofts as you.......except that I don't carry a 60*.

Interestingly, I also hit mine pretty much the same distances. The only time I find I have an issue with the gap is between the PW, which is pretty strong at 46* and the GW. I resolve that by choking down just a bit on the PW if I need to take a couple of yards off.

As was mentioned, remember, if you bend a wedge, you change the bounce the same amount that you changed the loft.

Personally, I'd leave them as is.

I too have the same wedges and distances. I like mine. I agree with David in FL that my only issue is between PW and GW...I also choke down. I would am on the "leave them as they are" side since you are playing 4. I wouldn't want to mess with the bounce.

I agree, looks like a good spread. I would suggest working on hitting the wedges you have a variety of distances.

Thanks everyone. I'm working on the between distances with different swings and choking down. I have the feel shots inside of 50 and scramble well but its those 5-8 yard diffs on the approch that frustrate me. I mean I feel much better about a 12' putt then a 35 footer...
