length & loft/lie

I just put in a PX shaft into my wedges. everything was cool EXCEPT for the sw.
the guy didn't cut the shaft...and i really feel and have been playing my SW short. it's usually been my money 85 - 115 club...now it's like 100 if I crank it...and it's a longer shaft. does anyone know if the lie angle would change drastically in a wedge by adding an inch to the standard shaft? I'd rather not cut the shaft b/c I like the length the way the club plays over all..but it's the only club that just feels like the blade is always open...unless i put it way back in my stance.
