Another Pebble tradition over the last two decades is the type of name on the crystal trophy. Only three of the last 21 winners of the AT&T; Pebble Beach National Pro-Am have not won a major. No other regular PGA Tour event has such a major list of winners over the last two decades. The next best is The Players Championship, with 16 of the last 21 champions having also won majors.

And my man Phill sets a course record.Maybe Callaway stuff aint all that bad?He has a 64 ave. in last 7 rounds including a 72 so you figure

I think it includes a 73, actually. 60, 62, etc. will help bring that average down though, that's for sure.

I think this success will actually hurt Phil. He's getting away with risky shots that don't pay off in the Majors.
