Hello. I think I just made a horrible mistake. I was in an online auction and bought a set of Warrior TCP II irons and Beta Driver at the last minute. They were new, looked okay and the discription sounded good but now that I have researched them I can not find any good reviews except on their web site. Did I get suckered badly or do I just feel that way. If they are as bad as indicated I will leave them in the bubble wrap and see if I can sell them. So much for impulse buying.

gshaw,

The complaints against warrior entailed them giving "free" clubs to consumers for a trail period, taking credit card numbers as a "retainer." When people started sending the clubs back, they were still charged on their credit cards. The company is riddled with complaints against them from the Better Business Bureau. They're actually not bad clubs. They feel pretty solid, but the ones I saw had about a 1/2 shaft offset. A bit too much for me. The complaints are more against their shoddy business practices and not shoddy clubs. I think you avoided the whole bait and rip MO since you bought them off Ebay. You're probably buying them off someone who got ripped off by Warrior golf.

    • Day 170: did the yardstick putting drill.
    • Day 2 1 hour of range work, muni range in Van Nuys. Focusing still on weight shift, starting forward shift earlier. Seeing some progress. Little bit of chipping work.
    • I wish! Double quotes are inches and a single quote is feet! It was just 11 inches, my friend, @ChetlovesMer!    Day 4 1/3/25  Indoor chipping and weight shift drills. Will putt through 50 mm  gates rom 11 inches before bed.

    • Day 244 (3 Jan 24) - Friday men’s group round - a really solid front nine at one over 37 from the gold tees. Out of the 8 pars - six were up and downs…the lone bogie included a water ball penalty stroke.  At the turn, game shifted to my typical reality as it was a 45 with open and close dbls on 10 and 18, with five bogies and two pars strewn in between. Still a solid 82 overall - with 28 total putts (incl one 3 putt) 5 GIR and 5 nGIR.   Oh the highlight of the day - the ladies’ teaching pro was in our foursome and she was very complimentary of my overall approach and wedge game.  It made those drills in the backyard well worth the time spent.
