I can't answer that, but I would like to know about offsets as well. If you are playing GI irons with a lot of offset (Taylormade RAC OS) and you improve your swing, stop coming over the top etc. Will it cause you to hit shots left? And would it then be advantageous to move to clubs with less offset?

Not trying to jack your thread, just consolidating instead of starting a new one.

Too much offset, at least, I've found has caused a miss left, a hook for the right handed golfer.

It's there to try and fix your average hacker's slice.

Driver Ping G10 10.5*

Too much offset, at least, I've found has caused a miss left, a hook for the right handed golfer.

I'm at a point where I think it could be hampering my progress.

Yeah. I had the Rac OS2 and as a drawer of the ball, it was turning my draw into a hook and I couldn't even control my irons, especially my scoring irons 8-PW...So, that's when my iron play really improved was when I went to the Mizuno MP-57's.
