I'm wondering if any of you guys or gals have tried washing a Cameron putter cover and what the results were. If you have tried this, did it come out cleaner or did the damage (if any) outweigh the cleaning results?

I have an original Red X cover that is in fine shape, except a little velcro seperation. It's the black one with a red "X" trimmed in white. The white trim and other white lettering ("Titleist, "scottycameron.com", etc.) is starting to look a little dingy. It's no big deal, but I thought I'd ask those that have tried washing their covers before I threw it in the washer. I've never had bad results with laundering other clubhead covers.

Thanks in advance for any input.

I'm sure you'll get some good responses, but you might also considering shooting an email through the Cameron website or checking that forum (unless you have to pay to participate), just a couple of other possible sources of info.

My Red X cover is getting a little dingy too. I'll just handwash it with some Woollite and let it air dry and if it doesn't survive I'll order a new one.
