Today i volunteered to scorekeep at ryan sheckler's celebrity scramble at a course by my house. Wow what a day! I chatted with Hunter and his caddy for 15 min after the hole I was scoring on. Nicest guys and loved to talk about tour stuff haha. Then i met my idol and favorite player geoff ogilvy. I even got to putt wit Geoff's putter even though it is righty haha. He was a great guy and every thing i expected. He wasnt afraid to talk down other pga players haha. He flat out called Sergio and Tiger a**holes haha. Got autographed balls from both Hunter and Geoff. I day i will never forget.

Cool story. It's nice when pros are just normal friendly people. I like Ogilvy more now for calling Tiger an a-hole :)

Dude, that is awesome. Sergio is the man, though, but that debate is for a later time.

Pretty neat stuff, I'm going to try to make it to a practice round at The Barclay's, see if I can meet some players there.

That was at Coto right? Last time I was playing down there I saw flyers for the event. That's really cool. Especially to meet your golf idol! I remember meeting my favorite F1 driver a few years back. Anyway, cool day!

Thats awesome! i would love to volunteer at an event but im not sure how to go about finding the info for any events near the charlotte NC area. I got some info for the barclays but i wont be in ny during then.

      Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.

      Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.

      That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.

      Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
