I'm heading to Galena, IL this weekend. Its kind of a family thing, so my wife and the other ladies are going to go shopping and us guys are going golfing. I've played golf in the Galena area only one time and thought it was good. We played all of the courses in the Eagle Ridge Resort and already have tee times for their 9-holer and mainstay, The General. Has anyone out there ever played in the Galena area? What courses other than those on Eagle Ridge are good to play?

(Thanks)

Sorry this is a little late, you've probably been there and back.
I use this site to find other courses within proximity and for reviews.
