I've noticed that at a lot of online retailers this wedge is really cheap $50-$60 range at some places. Is there a "catch" to this wedge? Or is it just an older model that has been for sale for quite some time? Any pros/cons are welcome.

No, I don't think there any "catches" included. Just an older model that is on sale. I'd buy it if I were in market for a wedge.
I got my PING G5i putter for $50 as well. Nothing wrong with it.

Just be careful with bright chrome. You will blind yourself if the sun reflects into your eyes.

I only use RTG wedges for this reason
