Hello from VA

Hey all. Just found this site today and I'm impressed with the amount of info on here. I belong to several other forum sites regarding various topics from cars to other sports and this by far has more activity and information.

I live just outside of Richmond, VA and I try to play 2-3 sometimes more times a month during the summer and atleast once a month any other time. I am restricted because I coach football and baseball at one of the local high schools and that occupies most of my time during the spring and fall.

Currently I am recovering from right ACL surgery. I got cut 2 weeks ago today and can't wait to be back on a course. My goal is to atleast go to the range by the 2nd week of October.

Just thought I'd say a little about myself.

I am very new to the forum as well. There is TONS of great info and some very helpful and friendly folks on here. Sorry to hear about your injury (I did the same thing long time ago playing soccer), it's always tough when that happens. I'm sure you'll be back at it in no time, just be patient and careful.

My parents live in Fredericksburg, VA, right up I-95, and my sister actually works at Meadow Farms Golf Course right outside of Fredericksburg. I played there on July 4th, and it was an interesting course. Longest hole in the U.S., an 841 yard Par 6.
