Graphite Shaft chips

Ok so there are some chips on all 3 graphite shafts of my woods and I brushed over them today with black hobby paint. They were barely through the black paint on the shaft. So, I was wondering - will this have any effect on the performance of the clubs or is it fine now that it's been sealed again? Thanks

Anyone? What could I reseal the chips with? I don't really care about how it looks I just can't afford 3 new shafts at the moment. I don't think it affects the club as is, I just wanna seal it so it doesn't wear anymore. It was from the plastic divider in my bag but I put tape over the divider until I eventually get a new bag.

Ok, so hee's what I did. I sprayed clear-coat over all of the trouble areas, which sealed it again. Then I used a coat of turtle wax on the shaft and it came out great. I flexed the shafts at different points to make sure they weren't weakened and they aren't. So, it's all good.
