  1. 1. What is your putting style?

    • Back of the cup. If I miss it - 6ft comeback is not unusual...

    • firm. back of the cup, but don't go more than 3ft by...

    • Variable, depending on break, up/down hill, etc...

    • Die the ball on the edge and drop. Tear drop. don't hurt the edge!

I've switched to a more agressive style of putting and made a couple more long putts per round than I normally do. The good thing is that I've only had one three putt in the same time...from running it by.

IMHO aggressive putting (w/o going crazy and making a ball mark in the back of the cup) definitely improved my putting stats. Firm stroke on a good line takes away possible deflections on uneven grass, possible breaks I didn't see... As long as you steady enugh to make the 3 - 4 footer coming back - can't lose. After all - 97.65% of the putts, that are not hit hard enough - are not going in...
