Finally I have found the driver that is perfect for me. My journey has been long and arduous and expensive. I've tried a lot of different drivers.. R7 Superquad, Callaway FTi, Hibore XLS, and R9 just to name a few.

This years R9 was a mistake. Not saying it's a bad club but for whatever reason (probably the shaft), it just wasn't for me. It felt a little stiff for my swing speed and try as I might, I just could never get comfortable with it.

Having given up on my R9 a couple of weeks ago, I went back to my trusty Cleveland Hibore XLS which, while not perfect, is pretty reliable for me.

But the other day I cracked and purchased the Adams Speedline 9032 and I couldn't be happier.

This is the perfect driver for me. It has it all... looks, feel, sound, and performance. Even the headcover is attractive and extremely easy to put on and take off. I am happy to report that their advertising claim appears to be true as it seems about 10 yds longer than my other drivers.

This is the nicest "feeling" and "sounding" club I have ever owned. I think it is the quietest driver I've ever heard. The ball just explodes off the clubface and that aldila voo doo shaft is as sweet as butter. You do feel like you are swinging faster. I don't think it is quite as closed as my Hibore so I was struggling a little bit with a fade but I had it worked out by the end of the round. Since I was mostly concerned wiith straightening it out, I didn't try to work the ball either way.

I'm a short hitter so getting an extra 10 yds on my drives means a lot. Finally I can end my search for the perfect driver (for me). This one is staying in the bag.

Cannot wait to go out again tomorrow.

If you've been considering trying or buying this club, I recommend you go out and give it a few swings.

I noticed you play a Fybrid. If that club works as well for you as it does for me I may have to try the speedline also.

Oh yeah... my FYbrid is my go-to club, especially when I'm struggling to hit a wood. The FYbrid has replaced both the 2hybrid and 7wood I used to carry.

I'm selling my R9 plus there is a $100 rebate from adams on the speedline so I'm getting the 9032ti 14.5* wood/hybrid and if it performs as well as the driver, I'll no longer be carrying any woods.

Yeah I love my adams driver. Think I might consider this one because I need a stiffer shaft.

It was going for $399 Canadian so should be a little cheaper where you are and it certainly should be available. Plus Adams is giving $100 gift certificate with the purchase right now.

You can get the 9032LS for under $250 at certain online retailers. I've been contemplating on upgrading my Speedline 10.5º to the 9032LS 9.5º.

Thought I'd give one more update.

2nd round with the driver and WOW. I'm still struggling with the fade somewhat but this driver is long. Actually got me into trouble a few times putting me in positions I had not been in before. A couple of times it put me on a severe downslope where normally I'd have nice flat lie and on one hole there is a sandtrap at the back where it dog legs and today I found myself having to stand in the sand trap while tying to hit my approach shot with the ball just outside the trap. I hit a couple of drives that were a good 30-40 yds further than I was hitting my Hibore. I think I'm swinging harder as I begin to gain confidence which is resulting in the longer shots as well as some mishits (fades/slices). Whatever.... I'm having a fun time trying to tame this puppy.

I have just replaced my Taylormade R5 by the 9032LS and the result is above all my expectations, this driver is really really good.

Welcome to the club, I don't have the 9032, but the original Speedline is no slouch. I especially like your switch from the R9. I think Titleist and Taylormade goers don't know how good this club really is.
