Just wondering if any of your home courses or stories from your local area have been featured on "Golf In America".

I was surprised to see one of the local munis Metropolitan Golf Links in Oakland, CA featured on the show, about the programs and classes they have getting the inner city youth involved in the game and industry. I thought this was pretty cool as golf really isn't a sport that inner city youth is exposed to, be it financial reasons or whatever. I think it shows how far the sport has come.

Any stories from your area make the show? Any thoughts on the program they have going for the youth in Oakland?

      I love Rancho Park too!  I don't get out there much due to the 405 issues (Im in Santa Clarita) but I do try and get out there every now and then...last time out was in January where I eagled 17 (left green) with a holed 145 yard third shot ! Rancho is a great course! And at 24 bucks weekday with the city card, an absolute steal!

      I have played PGA West, at least one or two courses in there, but I am not sure if I've played any of the courses used to host the Hope. I played a course that I think both isn't PGA West and is host to the Hope a few years ago, possibly at a TST outing, but I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the right one. I have played Rancho Park plenty of times (exactly half of my sub-80 rounds were there!) and Wilson/Harding.  Rancho Park might be my favorite golf course among those I've played more than a half dozen times.   Hopefully I'll get a chance to play TPC Scottsdale, maybe this August or September, and at some point I think there was a PGA Tour event in Las Vegas, I should get up there and play those course(s).
