Hooking 3 wood!

I have a regular shaft in my 3 wood. Will a stiff shaft help keep it from going left. (I'm right handed).

Possibly. Go get fitted on a launch monitor, depends a lot on swing speed.

I would say that a swing that is fast enough in order to require a stiffer shaft, with a regular shaft the ball would go to the right, and not to the left.
Getting fitted is always a good idea, even if you think your clubs suit you well, but before that, you may want to check your grip (if you have a very strong one, that could be the cause of sending the ball left), check your ball position at stance, your backswing path and downswing path.

Thanks, I was using a strong grip and it was causing my ball to go left.
I changed my grip and it worked. I also slowed my swing down about 20%.

A poorly fitted shaft can exaggerate hooks and slices but the root of the problem is in your swing. Check your ball position and grip before you start tinkering.
