What clubs to buy?

I just don't understand all the threads which are an endless variation on this theme. As a golfer and skier, I have read countless threads on "What are the best skis" and "What are the best clubs." Don't people understand that there are no answers to such questions, just as many opinions as there are golfers and skiers. People should go out and try as many products as they can lay their hands on before buying anything. Golfers are in a better position than skiers. It is generally much cheaper, easier, and more convenient to demo golf clubs than skis. Golfers all have different swings, different abilities, different preferences, and different budgets. What works for me won't necessarily work for you. Get out and try stuff.
