Project X shaft issue

I purchased a brand new set of AP2's in April and I love them! But I played on Friday and we got caught in some rain (for the first time with the new set) and I noticed today that every single one of my shafts have rust blotches from club head to grip all over the shaft. I can scrape it off if I really work on it with my finger nail and I do not want to take steel wool to them. This seems to be because there are many tiny "pit marks" in the shaft through the chrome finish. I plan on calling Titleist first thing tomorrow morning, but I'm not sure what the outcome is going to be. Has anyone had this happen? I want them replaced. A 4 year old set I can see...but 4 months old? Not acceptable for a $1,000 set of irons. I have also noticed that the club face on a few of the irons are also showing rust spots. Interested to hear something about this. Thanks

Chrome polish will get it off and also if you put chrome polish on once a year it will help prevent that rust

Strange, I played in rain a few weeks back and didn't notice any rust on my project X shafts after, I got some minor rust on the groves wear they are worn down a little bit though.

I havent had this problem, I would call them.

I've never seen rust on my PXs.

When I finish a round after a rain the bag the bag gets emptied out completely. All clubs get cleaned and dried. I leave everything out of the bag until the gag is fully dried (placed in front of a fan in a lighted window).

I have the AP2s, just 2 months old. And a couple of the irons were wet when I put them away, and saw some minor rust on it was only on the bottome of the club, not the shaft.

I would just call Titleist and have them replaced.

Good pointer about the chrome polish though, i'm gonna start doing that.
