Has anyone seen and/or tried this product? It is a personal launch monitor that sells for ~$400. If it works as claimed, I would consider getting one to share with my regular foursome...of course they can share the cost, too!

Thanks.

Looks like you get readings on ball velocity and distance, not much else. No club head speed, no launch angle, no spin rates... not sure how much it'd help you out, other than to finally figure out among your foursome who hits it the hardest.

UpandDown,

The Zelocity product is a fun one to track your progress and estimate numbers, but I wouldn't use it for fitting applications. If you're really interested in a fitting product, look into a used vector, which your foursome could buy for about $250 a piece if you look around.

I got a PureContact a few weeks ago and it is an outstanding product! I agree that it is not a fitting tool but to really learn about your ball speed and its impacct on distance is great. Very accurate and easy to use. The best part is because it uses radar it can tell you exact distances when hitting into the wind or if using at high altitudes, high temperatures, etc. It is amazing how much shorter I hit the ball when first starting out playing (I'm 49) then when I've warmed up. If you want a full blown launch monitor then for my money the other Zelocity products out perform even a new Vector.
