It's amazing how fast things can turn around. Thursday I played 18 holes and completely blew up. I had the shanks, the tops, the duffs, the lip-outs, and ended up turning in a 99 (48 out, and 51 in). Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. After the round, we still had a couple hours of daylight and decided to play the back again. All of a sudden, like flipping a switch, everything just came together, and I shot 41, 10 strokes better than I had just played the back. Sometimes I just love/hate this game!

At least you got better. I played on Thursday and went out in 44 and came in in 55. 11 Shots difference!

Yep thats golf - yesterday i lost like 10 balls, which i think is a new record for me (but they just seem to disappear even after great shots), but i´m really looking forward to today - i know it will be a totally different ball game today :)

Isn't it crazy?? Wednesday I played 80 from men's tee and triple bogeyed last hole. Thursday played 88 from women's tee (!!) and on Friday 77 from men's tee.

I guess this is why we keep strolling aroung the courses, you never know what lies ahead!

Preachin' to the choir on this one. Best holes and rounds I have tend to be only after a disastrous event - guess at that point, I really relax and empty the cranium register of ALL swing thoughts.

It's that lone birdie or stuffing it 2' from the pin on the 110yd shot within the 102 score round that hooks you everytime!

Isn't this how golf is for a lot of us. Last Wed I shoot a 91 because I chunk almost every iron and hit ONE GIR. Completely hot by the end of the round. Later at home I realize I am swaying and getting my weight outside my right foot. I work on it Thurs and Fri morning and go out in the afternoon and shoot an 84. We will see what tomorrow brings.
