anyone have any good offseason workout programs? looking to gain significant core strength to improve balance and power.

I would highly recommend Pilates along with the usual strength training and cardio. If you don't know much about it, Pilates is about strengthening, lengthening and stretching.

Other than that, I recommend weight training, with lots of hamstring work. The biggest muscles used in the golf swing are the hamstrings, glutes, and pretty much all of your core muscles. I suggest that you stick with dumbells instead of barbell work when you go through your upper body days. Also specifically work rotator cuffs. Lengthening and strengthening them will allow you to get a wider full swing and followthrough.
