Yes, One Black is lower spin, firmer feeling ball that's similar to the Pro V1x. The One Platinum is higher spin, softer feeling and similar to the Pro V1.

I heard that Nike balls were all made by Bridgestone.

Does anyone know if that's true?

thanks, i thought it was the other way around, i guess i was wrong. i was looking through a box i have of old balls that i've picked up since i started playing and i found a bunch of precept lady balls. haha, i used to use those when i first started golfing. i think i was around 13. anyway, the reason i was asking about the nike one's is im looking to try using something other than prov1's and hx's.

Nike does there own R&D; on there golf balls.. the platium is a 4 piece ball where the black is a 3 piece ball..

The guy didn't ask whether they were Japanese or whatever. He asked who made them. Bridgestone makes them.

personally they are both amazing balls... I prefer the platinum to the prov1 but overall I prefer the prov1x
