Snake Eyes Viper Tour - Thoughts?

I know there's people on here who swear by snake eyes products, but im curious about these heads

I'm putting together a set of clubs for my grandpa who's a 10-13ish HC and he saw these and loved the look. But im curious as to the quality.

Is there a reason these heads are only 10$ ? and only 14 originally ? the 675b heads are 27$ and 33 originally. If these really are quality heads then fantastic ! save 100 or so bucks, but im curious on others if ya'll have experience or just a general idea what the thoughts are on these heads.

I believe the Viper Tour heads are a cast head and the 675b's are forged so that would account for the price difference. Only ever hit Snake Eyes clubs once at a driving range but they felt really nice.

They are definetely top quality. My putter is the only non snake eyes club in my bag.

they look nice... and I would trust the Snake Eyes name to be as good as any OEM's cast club. Too bad they're not forged though.

question is... what shaft...

      I appreciate that you have taken the time to come back and update. Based on what was previously discussed I feel like the points were; forged, feel good, price, and possibly players distance. If you like the "looks" of those Maxfli irons and if price is a major point, then going straight to the source, Maltby, might make sense. Specifically, the TS3 iron. I was looking into this myself and found some reviews: Fit2YouGolf, Lets Play Thru, and ELITE FIT GOLF. As per your update I found the Maxfli to be ~$1300 fitted the way I wanted. Where the TS3 with the same fitting and assembled by Golfworks was less than $750. I suppose the downside is to actually hit the iron you will need to get lucky and find someone in your golf circle who will let you hit theirs or order a 6 or 7 iron to test. However, the way I look at that is being equivalent to some fittings. If you like the results and buy, then the fitting is free, otherwise the price of the fitting is a sunk cost. If name brand is important, then I submit for your consideration - THE BEST OVERALL IRON of 2024...... FACT !! 😉 A bit tongue in cheek that but also, I feel some good points were discussed.
