I just picked up a set of these on eBay slightly used (it said 10 rounds so probably 20). 4-PW with True Temper Dynamic Gold High Launch 6.0 shafts. I got these for $325 plus $15 for shipping. They have Golf Pride New Decade Dual Compound grips already installed. I'm really excited about these. I'm about a 10 handicap that can play to lower so I'm hoping these help my game.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If you're a consistantly good ball striker you'll be fine, BUT if not get ready for some pain. Not very forgiving at all.

I would love to hear how they work for you. These are possibly the only irons I'd consider kicking my 762's out for.

I'll let you know when they arrive and I get to play them a bit. I am shipping off to college soon and hope they arrive before then, if not I'll just have my mom forward them to me.

Thanks, good luck!

Those are a good set of clubs. I'm gaming the ZM's right now but it was a hard choice between the ZB and the ZM.

You might want to double check the actual shaft when you get them, because a Dynamic Gold High Launch 6.0 does not exist. Dynamic Gold High Launch exists, and a Rifle 6.0 exists, but the 6.0 would not describe a DG.

They are, and pretty easy to hit. They have a very crisp feel when you hit them.

I hit 6-7 different sets of clubs last summer when deciding on new irons. These were my favorites so that is what I got. I don't know why they weren't any more popular than they were. I guess they just got overshadowed by the AP2. I was a little disappointed they are not going to make them anymore. Doesn't matter really, I will have mine for a long time.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

The only way they will help your game is if you put in the work. If you just go out and play 1 time a week you won't notice a difference.

They're good clubs. You wont be disapointed in the look or feel. They are not the most forgiving irons though, so be prepared for some stingers.

I'm sure they are, I've been hitting a 690Mb 3 irons and men it's pretty damn good the feel you get from those things. Enjoy them mate!

Cheers!

Yea thanks Go Blue, I realized the mistake almost right after I posted it, but I was too lazy to fix it. In my excitement I got confused. They are S300 shafts.

I have a quick question, what is the difference between the ZM Forged, and the ZB Forged irons?

thanks

The ZMs are all muscleback. The ZB is a blended set where the 6 & 7 are partial cavity, and the 5, 4, & 3 are full cavity. The 8, 9, & W are the same in both sets.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

    • Maybe not different but more concise and with data to better explain the issue. I think it aids both the instructor and student as it can be interpreted as technical as each person wants.
    • Day 320: worked on putting with the yardstick drill for a while. Checked set up in the mirror as well, and it was pretty solid.
    • Truer words have never been spoken, as I am seeing tonight 😅. I hope my ignorance did not come across as arrogant… Definitely true, however there was also a pro present, albeit not trained in GEARS specifically as would be necessary. I am certainly learning a lot (as I hoped I would). I am not here to challenge the accuracy or significance of any data, as I did find it interesting how it objectively showed my swing. What I am wondering is if an expert teacher trained in GEARS was shown a swing with and without GEARS, would the pro come to a different conclusion using GEARS versus "traditional methods," genuinely curious.
