I talked to a local shop and they said if I want to skim the water for pond balls and return the range balls I can.

do they make a hand held retriever to skim the water for 4-6 balls at a time?

I just want to get about 80-100 balls which shouldnt take long

I just want a tool/machine that skims the bottom of the floor of the pond

not a single ball getter

I would be doing this for personal use, and to help out the course

not when people are golfing

I get all the non range balls, and it cost me 0 dollars to do

its just something I can do while waiting on a 5 man... as I usually play single and I would say the ponds are usualy 40x40ft

A friend of mine uses an old, weighted bicycle basket on a rope. Just chuck it out there and haul 'em in. You can pretend you're on an episode of "Deadliest Catch".

I have seen a basket looking affair.

Please get one and come down to Gordon Lakes golf course in Augusta, Ga.

We'll head over to our island hole and bring a cooler full of beer. It will probably turn into a party as folks find out about.

Everyone can describe their ball mark in detail ahead of time and we'll hold a contest on who gets the most of theirs back.

Been playing that couse a year and a half.....bet I've lost 6 dozen balls in that surrounding hazard....and then a few on the next hole's tee shot....as I'm normally pissed off when I get there and bust out a big hook trying to kill the ball.

They are holding a Hooters Tour tourney this week....I may head over there and watch that hole....just to see if it bites them, too. It will be playing ~180 yards for them.

I have a rake that is made to pick up pecans from around trees. Sometimes I bring it along on a smaller couse I play and it works great. Just drag it back and forth near the edge of a pond and I almost always get something.

I get behind alot of slow players lately and this seems kinda entertaining

my uncle resells them to friends and has 10x10 gallon buckets full of balls

I figured he goes on land at the course... why not go on water

my uncle has the contract but we cannot get the license to get the tank or I would willingly dive for them

    • The course is playing tough. We’re only about 50 miles away. It very windy here and going to get worse. They’re all dressed like it’s the British Open!
    • Have posted in a while or practiced for that matter. Dealing with a few medical issues. But I was able to practice and film today. I’ve played 5 times this year. Misses have been pulls or heavy shots. I feel this has a lot to do with my lower back issues. When I feel good, I get good rotation and I hit the ball well. Today I felt good. Hips and lower back felt nice and flexible. I worked mainly on the hands feeling from the top. The club head should feel like it’s going down and away from the ball and target at the start of the downswing. The right knee should stay a little flexed at the top. These are the only swing thoughts other than high hands (arms going up) I’ve been focused on. I did PW, 6 iron and Driver today. Here is PW. The hands look better as does the knee in the rehearsal. The knee gets more straight in the actual swing.   My left arm is not straight at impact, which it has never really been. But that’s not the focus of this practice.   6 iron looks better than last time. Driver also looks better than last time. Playing tomorrow. Hopefully my body will cooperate.

    • The way to practice this is not at full speed, even if you do manage to "change" something. But no, not quite like that. That's a late lift, but you still have the early roll, and you stand up too much in that swing (likely in trying to "lift" — the "lift" is relative to your torso, not the ground).
