Playing in the wind is easier than playing in a driving rain, but both are a challenge. A windy day with strong gusts is frustrating, but like anything, the more you do it, the more it becomes second nature.

I treat days like Sunday and Monday (around here anyway - a lot of gaps on the course due to cancelled tee times - conducive for being patient on each shot) like a blessing. I'm golfing sure, but I treat it like practice for playing courses like Cypress Point, which I hope to play one day. If/when I ever get a chance to play a course like that, I want to be able to appreciate my surrounding and enjoy the round. If the wind blows hard or it's raining on that day (whenever it comes) I don't want to fall apart because I don't know what to do.
