I go in to the doctors tomorrow so they can look at my shoulder. I've been in constant pain since end of July. I really got back into golf this year after a 2 year hiatus, and I just played through the pain. I'm pretty sure Doc is gonna tell me to shut it down for the year. I am guessing some rotator cuff damage has been done and I think it'll end my season as the temp has really dropped here in michigan. Had a great year for golf though, no regrets.. Wish me luck.

Bummer. Definitely get it looked at and don't swing while it's questionable. I had a shoulder tweak that stubborn idiocy had me trying to play through and it significantly increased my recovery time.

At least I live in Texas... I imagine the offseason is far shorter here than up there. :D

Good luck.

Dude, I tore just about everything in my should almost 3 years ago doing Mixes Martial Arts, everything except the RC, hard surgery and took almost a year and a half to get my game back. I had to make some swing changes because I could not finish as high anymore so my follow through got a little flater... Good luck dude and take the time to rehab, this is the key to streghtning your shoulder...

Oh man I hate reading things like this. My left shoulder has been bothering me for the last couple months, mostly when it stretches out at the top of my backswing and while accelerating through impact. It comes and goes, but doesn't seem to be getting any better. The thought of surgery does not sit well with me after hearing about the misery from a bunch of my surfer friends.

Good luck man, hope you come out okay.

Well went to the doctor and I have to say I am pretty happy with the diagnosis. Made my day cause my Doctor is a Huge golf fan. Plays quite a bit and loves the game. So the diagnosis is bicep tendinitous. The pain is more to the front and through range of motion tests he was able to determine it is not the rotator cuff like I thought. 2 Aleve in the morning, hot shower, 2 aleve in the evening and ice. Going to give it 7 days to see if there is any progress. He told me I can still play golf though. I am not going to chance it for at least this week to see how well it feels before any golfing is going to happen. But overall I am very happy it is not as serious as I thought it was.
