So I was trying to hit a short par 5 in two today and have a decent drive I pulled out my Cally FT 5 wood and took a couple practice swings. While I was waiting for the the slow pokes ahead of us to get putt out, I flipped my wood over to clean the face with a towel and heard a rattle sound travel from the head to shaft. I thought I was hearing things and flipped it back down and heard it again. After shaking the club a few times, I started to realize that something was moving around in there. Is this some sort of weight or something that got lose? Could it have traveled from the head into the shaft of the club? Any ideas? Thanks!

I can almost guarantee it's a small piece of adhesive (used to stick the shaft into the head during the manufacturing process) that's broken off inside and is travelling up and down the shaft. Happened to me with a Callaway driver and my current "reserve" Ben Sayers Driver is the same.
Nothing to worry about, just a minor irritation.
Your club pro could take the grip off and shake it out, putting a new grip on afterwards. Would only cost a small amount I guess.
I have heard of some pro's heating the heads up so that the adhesive becomes tacky again and it re-attaches itself but I'd rather go for the grip off, new grip on method myself

Smiffy is probably correct. I'd certainly try removing the grip and shaking out w/e is in there first. If not, just call Callaway. They have the best customer service in the business. They will take care of you.

Callaway service is pretty fantastic. If taking the grip off doesn't work I bet they'll work out something for you. I bought an FT5 and after playing with it some decided I would've rather get the FTi. Callway said they would exchange it but asked me to keep trying with the FT5. I eventually decided to just stick with it but they were willing to give me the other driver if it was what I really wanted. My story isn't uncommon, their customer service is just great.
