I play 4 and used to play 5.

I really like my 64 and think it is so much easier to control than a 60 or 58 from 70 and in.

The only issue I have now is about 105ish.

I can't hit my 58 anymore than 95 and the 50 degree I can hit 120. But I like my current set-up. Just changed. Might get a 54 vokey and ditch an iron.

I have an old 56 that I could throw in too.

But I will see. I just got my irons less than a week ago.

I would advise any one to find two wedges they like and learn how to use them. Having four wedges in the bag creates too much indecision. Yes Mickelson carries four wedges, but he's also the pre-eminent authority on the short game of players today. You're not him and neither am I. I have always carried just one until recently the past two years I carry a 54 and a 58, both with enough bounce that I am confortable with them and I only use the 58 out of the sand or for extreme situations. having only one go to wedge for most of my pitching around the greens has given me great confidence in how to use that wedge and that confidence is the most important element to me.

I don't agree. I do have one wedge I use use 90% around the green (my 58) but to think I should carry a 50 or a 64 is hurting me. I have confidence from 65 yards now, I never had that before my 64. I have confidence from 120 with my gap.

But going back to 100 yards or 120, it is very hard for someone who doesn't have the time to practice to use the same swing from two very different distances. Half swings are very difficult to be really good at and someone at your skill level might not have the same issue us mid handicap hacks have.

My Callaway Fusions are:

PW - 45 95-105 yds
AW - 50 75-85 yds
SW - 55 60 yds

I have replaced them with Callaway....

Forged PW - 48 90-100 yds
X Tour Forged (C grind MD grooves) - 52 70-80
X Forged - 56 up to 60 yds

The only real issue is I have is I lost my 100 - 105 yd club, which is important.

Any suggestions?

LOL..........thinking about putting the Callaway Fusion PW- 45 back in the bag.

Then I would have 45; 52; 56

I also have a 58 vokey spin milled.....but then I'd have to remove the 2 0r 2 Hybrid.
