Legacy Golf Resport in Phoenix: Vegas course suggestions

Will be heading out to Phoenix And Las vegas in November going into December. I will be staying at the Legacy Golf Resort, anyone ever play it? Comments?

Suggestions for other courses in the Phoenix area? I will also be heading to Vegas, any suggestions for there as well?

The Legacy is a well-conditioned Gary Panks layout with nice customer service amenities. It is routed through housing, but the playing corridors are wide and the houses are not intrusive. Although it is not a particularly memorable design, there is a good mix of holes and interesting greens.

The Legacy's neighbor, The Raven @ S. Mountain is nothing special given the price. The must play for the Phoenix area in my opinion is the Saguaro course at We-Ko-Pa (Coore & Crenshaw). A core, walkable routing in spectacular desert surroundings with great views. The course is very wide and playable off the tee and has some very interesting design features and greens. Overall a FUN golf experience. Others to check out - Vista Verde, The Raven @ Verrado, Longbow, Papago, Southern Dunes (45min south of town)... Any specific course questions, feel free to ask.
