Practice round at Alexandria Sporting Club golf course in Alexandria, Egypt. Shot-by-Shot coverage for holes number 1 and 3. Carded a 93 for that round, 5 under my handicap.

It took some effort making this video. Please watch and comment.

Nice idea.

Is it just my impression or do you have extremly low hands at setup position (which would cause other problems like a shallow swing plane and an unoptimal distance to the ball).

Do you pull a lot of putts? Your stroke, especially the 2nd one on the first hole didnt look very consistent - you might work on that.

I do. It's one of the causes I cannot hit very long. My distances on the PW through 8 iron are OK, but starting 7 iron and up, my distances seem to not change whatever club I use. A 6 iron would go almost the same distance as a 5 or a 4 iron. I can only feel comfortable with my hands in that position.

Not really. Never had that problem. My main problems with putting are the power of the stroke and reading greens. The just breaks when I am not expecting it, and doesn't break, when I am expecting it to. Like that birdie putt; it really looked like a perfectly straight line (never mind the camera being tilted a bit)

I can definitely notice on the first hole that your feet are aimed way right of the target and you come over the top on your downswing. Also, if you took a more upright stance, that might bring your hands up into a better position.

Definitely a very athletic and bent over setup.

Nice video though, I like the concept, might try something like that myself sometimes. You could do with a tripod though, to get the camera up from the ground. Would also be cool if you picked up the camera while recording and carrying it to your ball after a shot. That way we could see more of the course. The walking part could be sped up when editing the video.

Also, when setting the camera up for the shot, first put the ball down, or locate it, aim the camera in the direction of the shot, then make sure the ball is more to the right through the lens, so you get the body in the middle of the shot.

cool video. both your putts broke right though and that was the difference between birdie, par.

What do you mean by athletic? Is that good or bad?

I hit the range today, hit perfect irons and some really straight drives (or with a slight fade)

Not a bad idea. Did you have the camera on a push cart or tripod or something?
